Abstract

There is a growing worldwide epidemic of chronic pain and chronic illness1,2. Increasing evidence points to low-grade systemic inflammation, oxidative stress, and associated metabolic changes as major drivers of a variety of chronic illness and pain states3,4,5. Lifestyle choices are major determinants of the “biology of chronic pain and illness The robust “back end” manages communication between the patient’s app and the clinician’s office. It provides two-way telemedicine that allows clinicians to receive subjective and sensor data to inform treatment decisions, and allows the clinician to adjust/optimize electroceutical and health coaching interventions.
